The short answer is it makes your car look its best. There are practical benefits too: 1.Saftey. The side windows on 99% of cars and trucks are tempered glass. When they are sruck by a flying rock or some other object they literaly explode on impact. Tinting usualy keeps the millions of little glass pieces all together and out of your eys and face. 2.Tinting also blocks out harmful UVA/UVB sun rays that destroy your nice interior or even your eyes ad skin. 3.Tinting also reduces sun glare and at night it reduces glare from the high powered headlights on most new cars.
